The Dirty Dozen – Trail building on Mt. Olympus
13/12/2021According to legend, the 12 ancient gods inhabited the mythical Mt. Olympus. In this mystical corner of Hellas, the fourth International Trail Building Event took place in September 2021. Twelve is a dozen and trail building is characterised by plenty of dirt and so no name seemed more appropriate for the newly built trail than ‘Dirty Dozen Trail’.

16/04/2019In April 2019, a team of international MTB enthusiasts got amongst the local MTB scene in Greece to build trails for a week in the beautiful Aegean. Thessaloniki was the destination of choice by the Aegean Trails team: it is the second biggest city in Greece and hosts a very proactive and supportive MTB community and the outskirts of the city offer a great foundation of trails which can be expanded into an attractive trail network.
